Managing Collaborators
Add team members and configure their permissions for events and products
Collaborators are team members who help you manage your events or products. You can add existing Streets users as collaborators and assign specific permissions based on their role in your team.
Event curators can add collaborators to their events, and product vendors can add collaborators to their products. Only the owner can add or modify collaborators.
Adding a Collaborator
For Events
- Go to Settings > My Events
- Tap on the event you want to manage
- Navigate to Step 5: Extras
- Tap Team & Collaborators
- Search for the user you want to add
- Tap on their profile to open collaborator settings
For Products

Collaborator Permissions
Each collaborator can be assigned specific permissions. Here's what each permission allows:
Role & Display
- Role/Title - A custom title for the collaborator (e.g., "DJ", "Host", "Security"). This appears on the public event page if visibility is enabled.
- Visibility - When enabled, the collaborator's name and role appear on the public event/product page. Great for showcasing performers, hosts, or featured team members.
- Custom Message - A personalized message or bio that appears alongside the collaborator on the public page (only available when visibility is on).

Operations Permissions
- Scan Permission - Allows the collaborator to scan tickets at the door using the Streets app. Essential for door staff and security.
- Coat Check Permission - Allows the collaborator to manage the coat check system, including checking in items and retrieving them.
- Terminal Permission - Allows the collaborator to use the Streets Terminal for point-of-sale transactions.
Communication Permissions
- Send Messages - Allows the collaborator to use the Message Center to communicate with attendees on your behalf. See our Message Center guide for details.
Administrative Permissions
- Generate Reports - Allows the collaborator to generate and download event or product reports, including attendee lists and sales data.
- Issue Complimentary Tickets - Allows the collaborator to issue free tickets to attendees. Useful for guest list managers and promoters.
Financial Visibility
- Financial Visibility - When enabled, the collaborator can see financial details including revenue, fees, and payout information.
- Total Orders Visibility - Allows the collaborator to see the total number of orders and ticket/product sales.
You can also add "external collaborators" who appear on your event page but don't have a Streets account. External collaborators only have display visibility (role and message) but no operational permissions.
Managing Existing Collaborators
Editing Permissions
- Navigate to your event or product's collaborators section
- Tap on the collaborator you want to modify
- Adjust their permissions as needed
- Tap Save to apply changes
Removing a Collaborator
- Navigate to your event or product's collaborators section
- Swipe left on the collaborator (or tap the remove button)
- Confirm the removal
Removing a collaborator immediately revokes all their permissions. They will no longer be able to perform any actions on your event or product.

Best Practices
- Principle of least privilege - Only grant the permissions each collaborator actually needs for their role.
- Review regularly - After each event, review your collaborator list and remove anyone who no longer needs access.
- Use descriptive roles - Clear role titles help attendees understand who team members are (e.g., "Host" rather than just a name).
- Communicate expectations - Make sure collaborators understand what permissions they have and how to use them responsibly.
