Reselling Your Tickets
Learn how to resell tickets you can no longer use on the Streets verified marketplace
Plans change - we get it! If you can't make it to an event, Streets allows you to resell your ticket on our verified marketplace. When someone buys your ticket, you earn Streets Credit that you can use for future purchases or cash out to your bank account.
Ticket resale is only available if the event curator has enabled this feature for their event. Not all events support resale - check your ticket to see if the option is available.
How Reselling Works
Streets provides a secure, verified marketplace for ticket resales. Here's the process:
- List Your Ticket - Set your asking price and verify your identity
- Wait for a Buyer - Your ticket is listed on the marketplace
- Get Paid - When sold, you receive Streets Credit
- Ticket Transfers - The buyer receives the ticket automatically
All resales on Streets are verified and secure. Buyers receive authentic tickets directly through the app, and sellers are protected throughout the transaction.
Eligibility Requirements
Before you can resell a ticket, a few conditions must be met:
- The event curator must have enabled resale for the event
- The event must not have already started or passed
- Your ticket must be valid and unused
- You must complete phone verification (one-time per listing)
Listing Your Ticket for Resale
Follow these steps to list your ticket on the resale marketplace:
Step 1: Find the Resell Option
- Open the Streets app and go to your Tickets section
- Select the ticket you want to resell
- Look for the Resell Ticket option

Step 2: Set Your Asking Price
Choose your asking price within the allowed range:
- Minimum: 50% of the original ticket price (face value)
- Maximum: 100% of the original ticket price (face value)
Tickets priced competitively sell faster. Consider pricing closer to face value for popular events, or lower if the event is approaching soon.

Step 3: Accept Terms & Verify
Before listing, you'll need to:
- Review and accept the Streets Resale Policy
- Agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (for receiving payments)
- Complete phone verification by entering a code sent to your phone

Step 4: Enter Verification Code
Enter the 6-digit code sent to your phone number to complete the listing:

Managing Your Listing
Once listed, you can manage your ticket resale from the ticket details page:
Change Your Price
You can adjust your asking price at any time while the ticket is listed. Simply:
- Go to your ticket in the app
- Tap on the resale listing
- Update your price within the allowed range
Remove from Sale
Changed your mind? You can remove your ticket from the marketplace:
- Go to your ticket in the app
- Tap Remove from Sale
- Your ticket will be restored to your account for personal use

When Your Ticket Sells
When someone purchases your ticket:
- You'll receive a push notification confirming the sale
- Your Streets Credit balance will be updated with your earnings
- The ticket is automatically transferred to the buyer
- You'll no longer have access to the ticket
Streets Credit is our platform currency. Use it to purchase tickets to other events or products, or cash it out to your bank account via Stripe Connect.
Your Earnings
When your ticket sells, your earnings are calculated as follows:
- Your asking price minus any platform reserve (if applicable)
- Earnings are added to your Streets Credit balance
- Credits can be used immediately for purchases or held for cash out
Cashing Out
To cash out your Streets Credit to your bank account:
- Go to Settings → Streets Credit Wallet
- Connect your Stripe account (if not already connected)
- Request a cash out of your available balance
- Funds typically arrive in 2-3 business days
Some credits may be held in a pending state until the event occurs. This protects both buyers and sellers in case of event cancellations.
Resale Policies
When reselling tickets on Streets, you agree to:
- Only list tickets you legally own and have the right to sell
- Accurately represent the ticket type and any included perks
- Accept that ticket transfers are final and non-reversible once sold
- Understand that pricing is restricted to 50-100% of face value

Expired Purchase Attempts
Sometimes a buyer may start a purchase but not complete it before the hold expires. If this happens:
- You'll be notified that the purchase attempt expired
- Your ticket remains listed and available for other buyers
- You can choose to keep it listed or remove it from sale
Troubleshooting
"Resell option not available"
If you don't see the resell option on your ticket:
- The event curator may not have enabled resales for this event
- The event may have already started or passed
- Your ticket type may not be eligible for resale
"Verification code not received"
If you didn't receive your verification code:
- Check that your phone number is correct in your account settings
- Wait a few minutes - SMS delivery can sometimes be delayed
- Tap "Resend Code" to try again
- Make sure your phone can receive SMS messages
"Unable to cash out"
If you're having trouble cashing out your Streets Credit:
- Ensure you've connected a Stripe account
- Verify that your Stripe account setup is complete
- Check that you have available (not pending) credits to cash out
